Description:

Decorative frame of birds and plants, and scene of growing cultural tree from the roots of a buried man. Inscribed along the edges of the relief is a quotation by Oscar Romero that reads 'let my blood be a seed of freedom and a sign that hope will soon be a reality" . This is written in both English and Spanish. Tribute to Archbishop of San Salvador Oscar Romero, as part of renaming of Pollock Hall Developemnt as Romero Place, who was murdered in March 1980.
